Residual income is income derived from performing an action once and getting paid from it over and over again without doing any more work.
LINEAR INCOME:
LINEAR income is income derived by working for a rate for a certian amount of hours. You only get gaid for the hours you work. If you don't work you don't get paid.
Bonus:
Bonuses are paid periodicaly for accomplishments.
